Andrew J. Smilinich IV is seeking a full-time position in mechanical engineering. He will graduate in May 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Rochester Institute of Technology, where he has maintained a 3.59 GPA. He has skills in CAD, materials testing, quality control, and composites. His projects include root cause analysis, cathode iteration using 3D scanning, and designing composite products. He has relevant internship experience at Alstom Transport, GE Aviation, and GE Aviation involving failure analysis, product iteration, and machine maintenance.
As an alumni of The College of New Jersey, I am passionate about the field of mechanical engineering and have been involved with multiple school projects, a large part of several engineering clubs, trained to work in a machine shop, and have had a successful summer internship in 2015. I am always looking for an opportunity that provides meaningful industry experience and develops additional skills associated with aspects of mechanical engineering while simultaneously supporting business objectives.
