The document discusses du's broadband portfolio in the UAE, with a case study on implementing WiFi on the Dubai Metro. It outlines du's use of HSPA, WiMAX, and WiFi technologies for mobile and fixed broadband services. Specifically, du used WiMAX to provide the backhaul network for Metro WiFi access on trains and in stations. While HSPA has a smaller cell radius that shrinks with loading, WiMAX provides consistent coverage and can support more users at the cell edge achieving 512kbps throughput. Overall, WiMAX networks have higher capacity and lower latency than comparable HSPA networks.
This document provides an overview of 3G basics and CDMA mobile technology. It discusses the goals of 3G including high data rates up to 2Mbps for limited and full mobility. Standards for 3G include UMTS FDD, UMTS TDD, CDMA2000, and EDGE. CDMA uses spreading codes to separate channels on the same frequency band, providing processing gain over noise. In cellular systems, multipath propagation reduces orthogonality of channels from the same transmitter.
- UMTS (Universal Mobile Telecommunications System) is the 3G mobile network that succeeds 2G GSM networks. It allows for higher data transmission speeds of up to 2Mbps.
- UMTS incorporates enhanced GSM core networks and introduces a new radio access network called UTRAN. UTRAN uses W-CDMA as the new air interface standard instead of GSM's TDMA.
- The UMTS network architecture connects the UTRAN to the existing GSM core network, allowing operators to preserve their GSM investments while introducing higher speed UMTS capabilities. This enables a transition to the 3G standard defined by IMT-2000.
This document provides an overview and efficiency analysis of NLPAROPT, a parallel Non-Linear Programming (NLP) solver developed by CU Aerospace and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. NLPAROPT utilizes parallel computing techniques like MPI, ScaLAPACK, and CUDA to significantly reduce the runtime of NLP problems compared to serial solvers. The author conducted an analysis of NLPAROPT_MPI to determine optimal processor counts and blocking factors. Results showed runtime reductions of orders of magnitude and that optimal blocking factors further reduced processor idling times. Future work includes implementing additional parallelization techniques to further improve efficiency.

European CRE Loan & REO Sales Market Q4 2014Sion Owen
In 2014, a record €80.6 billion of European commercial real estate loans and real estate owned assets changed hands, over 2.5 times the volume in 2013. This was driven by increased investor interest and vendors accelerating the process of reducing debt on their balance sheets. Sixteen "mega-deals" over €1 billion each made up 62% of the total volume. Ireland and the UK continued to be the most active markets, together making up almost two-thirds of all sales by value, while Spain had a record year for transactions. Major European banks and asset management agencies were the largest vendors, with Ireland's NAMA and Spain's SAREB expected to play important ongoing roles.

Introduzione
componenti hardware):
- Nella tratta in UPlink
Dalla possibilità che ha il ricevitore del
NodeB di distinguere l’informazione
trasmessa dalla della sorgente. Questa
possibilità deriva dalla quantità di rumore
presente insieme all’informazione ossia dal
rapporto segnale rumore.
all’apporto interferenziale aumenta, determinando

Power Controll e Congestion Controll
opportunamente parametrizzati

misurare l’apporto interferenziale in queste ore. La
misura dell’interferenza è realizzata misurando i
valori della grandezza RTWP (Received Total
Wideband Power) che rappresenta il metodo per
misurare l’interferenza previsto dalla specifica
3GPP [3GPP TS 25.215].
terminali attivi e l’interferenza misurata.

RoT (Rise of Termal Noise) è rappresenta la

degrado considerevoli, Il motivo all’origine è la
Altrettanto accade nelle connessioni attive infatti
aumentano il numero di Abnornal Release.

Carico in UP Link

fenomeno
