This document presents the development of an embedded system designed to function as an EEG-based brain-computer interface (BCI) system. The system uses a microcontroller and digital signal processor to process, store, and communicate EEG signals required for the application. A Matlab script generates the classifier used in the DSP to identify user intentions, while Windows programs display classification results and convert data for use in Matlab. The system's communication channel can also be integrated into wheelchairs.
