The library in Aloja will host several thematic exhibitions in February to celebrate notable anniversaries of Latvian writers Gunars Janovskis turning 100, Juris Zvirgzdinš turning 75, and Andris Jakubāns turning 75. There will also be an exhibition to mark 230 years since the birth of German writer Wilhelm Grimm. Other exhibitions include one highlighting the 2016 Bird of the Year, the Capercaillie, and one titled "Crosses with Prints" showcasing works by students from the Aloja Music and Art School's preparatory class.
