Aircontact was founded in Oslo, Norway, in
1962 by a group of prominent Norwegian
shipping and aviation pioneers with the aim
of providing charter flights for crew change
and ships’ spares. Since day one, Aircontact
has been Scandinavia’s leading air broker
and today is one of the world’s oldest air
brokering companies.
Today Aircontact is 100% owned by the
Stenersen family, one of the company’s
founding members.
Our Mission
Aircontact’s aim is to create and increase the business success of its customers, by providing customized air
charter solutions with a focus on safety and responsibility.
To be one of Europe’s leading air brokers, operating worldwide.
Our Vision
The Aircontact team is made up of highly skilled air brokers and airline staff with a wide range of experience
of working with airlines, travel agencies, shipping companies, government institutions and many other inter-
national organizations. Our highly motivated and experienced brokers work around the clock, with the aim of
exceeding clients’ expectations. We believe that it is these additional assets which enable us to provide our
clients with the most competitive and appropriate service.
Our Team
Aircontact is part of Aircontactgruppen AS, which is actively involved in various sectors of the travel industry.
With an average gross turnover of more than 50 million Euro, Aircontact has a solid capital base with good
annual results and our performance is consistently at a high level.
Strong financial position
Aircontact has an extensive range and variety of charter clients including, the United Nations, international,
intergovernmental and nongovernmental organizations, government institutions, providers of relief supplies
and services, travel agencies, tour operators, event companies and freight forwarders.

Cargo Charters
Cargo has always been a major part of Aircontact’s business. In many life-threatening situations, time is usually
a crucial factor and in most relief operations, people’s lives depend on our ability to deliver supplies directly to
the trouble spots as safely and quickly as possible. Aircontact has taken part in all major relief operations as far
back as Biafra in 1967, which gives us unrivalled experience in handling complex operations around the world.
In the commercial cargo sector, money can frequently be saved by saving time. Using charter does this and is
therefore more cost-effective. Aircontact has a lot of experience in arranging cargo charters for a wide range of
industries including shipping, oil and motor manufacturing.
Passenger aircrafts come in nearly all shapes and sizes. We receive requests for everything, from a single pas-
senger going to a business meeting, to 2000 passengers attending a sports or company event. Clients range
from heads of state attending state functions, to football supporters following their favorite team to national
and international matches. Our motto is that no assignment is ever too big or too small. Consequently, wheth-
er our clients want large or small aircraft, or helicopters, Aircontact will always be able to deliver.
Executive - Passenger Charters
Aircontact can provide any type of aircraft on an ACMI basis (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance and Insurance) for
airlines and operators around the world. This might be for a relatively short period, due to AOG (Aircraft on
Ground) or special capacity requirements. We also provide long term ACMI for passenger and cargo aircraft
for the UN and for other organizations for peace-keeping operations and for commercial operations for regular
carriers.

Aircontact is a dedicated
air broker company
dealing directly with
airline operators
worldwide
Cost-efficient and convenient
Chartering an aircraft is often a faster, more comfortable and more cost-efficient alternative to flying with a
traditional airline. The advantages are many: depending on size, a chartered plane can often land closer to the
final destination - there are ten times as many airports in Europe than the regular airlines can cover and the
charter aircraft will fly whenever you require it to. Chartering is also cost-efficient for larger groups when hid-
den costs such as board and lodging and loss of working hours etc. are taken into account. This type of group
will probably find it very difficult to avail of the cheapest airline tickets. Flying in a private aircraft is also more
convenient for large groups travelling to major events. Aircontact is always in continual contact with the air-
ports and airlines involved and is fully familiar with all the necessary procedures and formalities.
Once a contract is signed, Aircontact‘s real job starts. Regardless of whether the assignment is a cargo or
passenger flight, there are numerous details to be attended to before the aircraft is airborne. Aircontact will
coordinate all these details, to minimize trouble for the client and make sure that the flights are completed
to the client’s satisfaction. Aircontact does not stop working until the aircraft is safely at its final destination.
Taking care of business
Aircontact will always prepare a flight brief before each flight, outlining all the essential information agreed for
the flight, such as handling details, catering, schedule, contact details etc. During the operation, Aircontact‘s
OCC will continually monitor and pass on movement reports to the client and other requested parties, so all
involved are kept up to date with regard to the status of the flight and its progress.
Operation control
It is the airlines’ responsibility to ensure that all certificates, insurance etc. are in accordance with the regula-
tions, and it is the job of the national civil aviation authority to check these matters. However, we also do our
own reference checking. Aircontact acts as broker for many different kinds of aircraft worldwide and our clients
are kept constantly informed as to which companies are involved.
