Elements To Be Observed In Planting Trees
And Fruit Bearing-trees
Planting trees and fruit trees require
careful study of various factors to ensure its
proper adaptability and growth. Important
elements or factors in planting trees and
fruit-trees are to observe to achieve
success in this industry.
• Climate is the most important factor
affecting the growth of trees. It has been
observed that different varieties of trees
and fruit-trees grow best in certain
climatic conditions.
Elements To Be Observed In Planting Trees
And Fruit Bearing-trees
Climate Condition
• Temperature – the degree of coldness and hotness of
the atmosphere at certain period of time.
• Sunlight - the main energy provider of food
manufacture in the plant kingdom.
• Rainfall – is very important in the growth of all kinds
of trees, it must be controlled so as not to flood and
down the growing trees with water. Long-light rain is
good for tree crops.
Soil
Provides nutrients in plants and contains mineral
elements necessary for normal plant growth and
development such as:
• Mineral Soil – composed of inorganic substances with
varying amounts of decaying organic matter.
• Organic Soil – is formed from decayed plant materials.
• Fertilizers – are added to soil to increase it
productivity.
Water
• Water is one of the components in the process of
making food for the plant called photosynthesis.
Water makes the leaves cool and dissolve the
nutrients and transfer to the other parts of the
tree. Trees and fruit-trees need water.
Market Demand
• Planting fruit tree is a profitable business if one puts
his/her full attention, and has technical knowledge
and skill in planting coupled with hard work and
determination.
Famous Orchard Farms
in the Country

coastal province of Zambales, home to the Philippine
Carabao Mango. The farm is an agritourism (farm

who want to experience the ambiance of a real
functional farm.
Rosa Farms
• During our mango harvest seasons, we invite guests
to participate in our Pick-&-Pay program, allowing
adults and children to experience mango-picking,
straight from our trees. The guests are assisted by our
farm staff during picking, and the guests’ harvest is
then weighed, and the mangoes are sold at the
prevailing market rate. Since our opening in 2011, the
Pick-&-Pay program has been one of the most
sought-after activities of the patrons of Rosa Farms.
Rock Farm at Café Bodega
• The place was Rock Inn and Cafe. While it offers
accommodations to travelers, the cafe — called Cafe
Bodega — is open to everyone. Cafe Bodega used to

products such as rice baskets to pine wood plates,
converted into functional furniture pieces.
