Affiliate membership with the AIA provides access to their vast network and resources for those with experience in accounting and finance, whether pursuing full membership or not. Benefits include an international membership, publications, online learning and networking opportunities. Affiliate membership requires a minimum of five years experience in accounting/finance and does not grant full membership, with some limitations.

1. Affiliate
Affiliate membership is designed for those with experience of
working in accountancy and finance who wish to access the
AIA’s vast membership network and resources. As a registered
Affiliate, you are entitled to take the AIA exams and work
towards full membership, or simply retain your Affiliate status.
Whichever route you choose, AIA will assist you, offering
advice, information and support to help you achieve your
career goals.

Eligibility
Affiliate membership is open to those who have a minimum of
five years’ experience working in accountancy and finance.
Affiliate membership is not full membership of AIA and
therefore some limitations are placed on those holding this
category of membership. This category of membership is not
available to those based in the Republic of Ireland.
