Narciso Claveria on Nov. 11, 1849, derived from the Spanish word "Ricial" meaning "green hillside". 2) Jose was named by his mother to honor Saint Joseph born on March 19th. Protacio comes from the June 19th calendar date of saints Gervacio y Protacio and Sta. Juliana Falocneri, during which time Spanish children took names from the calendar. 3) Mercado was used by
