R&D Technology platform
AdipoPhYt has built up a multiparametric cell screening platform allowing the in-depth measurement of the metabolic
signature of any active principle or drug candidate using multiple biomarker and phenotypic readouts. Active
principles or compound libraries can be tested both in acute and chronic settings using our proprietary methodology
of ex vivo adipose tissue culture which allows for long-term preservation of the physio-pathological characteristics of
tissue samples. This provides a physiologically-relevant alternative to animal testing for research in weight
management and metabolic diseases.
Technological research and development is focused on encapsulation of primary & tissue culture cells. AdipoPhYt is
building up an ex vivo metabolic clinical platform dedicated to predict early metabolic alterations & prediabetes.
