3. THROUGH QUALIFIED INSTITUTIONAL
PLACEMENTS, ADANI GROUP COMPANIES
WILL RAISE APPROXIMATELY $4 BILLION
Three Adani group companies – Adani Enterprises,
Adani Green Energy, and Adani Transmission – will
raise approximately $4 billion through qualified
institutional placements as the group prepares to
implement and restart its delayed expansion plans.
Adani Green Energy's board of directors approved
raising to 12,300 crores (approximately $1.5 billion)
through a qualified institutional placement (QIP) of
shares on July 6, 2023. Adani Enterprises and Adani
Transmission's boards of directors agreed in May to
raise 21,000 crores ($2.5 billion) through QIPs.
