 Closed captions are an extension of subtitles
and usually contain descriptions of important
non-dialogue audio, such as "(sighs)" or "(door
creaks)" or lyrics.
 This is specifically intended for people who are
deaf and hard of hearing.
 They are intended for users with hearing
disabilities to help them fully understand the
narration.
 Subtitles are the written form of dialogues in the
video; they generally display only what is spoken by
a character.
 This assists the listener to follow the context
irrespective of the language.
 They are intended for listeners who are able to hear
but prefer to have the dialogue of the narration
displayed.
