The 15th Biennial AHILA Congress will take place from October 17-21, 2016 in Entebbe, Uganda at the Imperial Botanical Beach Hotel. The theme of the congress is "Access to and utilization of health information in Africa: New challenges, new solutions!". Sub-themes that will be discussed include health information and rural communities, librarians and evidence-based healthcare, evolving medical education curriculum, and the role of LIS education in capacity building health information professionals in Africa. Abstracts in English or French of no more than 300 words are due by May 30th for notification of acceptance by July 30th.
