The Absolute is a philosophical concept referring to unconditional reality that transcends limited, everyday existence. It is represented through concepts like the source, center, one, all, origin, principle, cause, sacred, form of the good, mystery, nirvana, will, ultimate, ground, and is sometimes used interchangeably with God or the supreme being. Symbols like the swastika and world tree are used to represent the Absolute principle of reality or God as the origin or manifestation of all being. Depictions of the Absolute may or may not include will, intelligence or personality, and it contrasts with finite or relative things.
