Dear Mr Black
I am writing to you sir because I want to be a coal miner. I want
to work in your coal mine. I have heard all about it and how good
it is.
There are many reasons why I feel I am suited to the job.
Firstly I’m strong because I can push a coal truck one handed.
Secondly I am very easy to teach and very eager for this job.
For instance when I was a chimney sweep, I learnt how to do it
in a blink of a eye.
In addition to these skills I am never going to be scared of the
dark. I worked up a chimney for 3 years - it was pitch black!
I really need the money for my mother because she is ill and my
sister is near to death. Also my Father is lost at sea.
