Abacus Mining & Exploration Corp. owns the Ajax copper-gold project located near Kamloops, BC. Ajax is scheduled to begin production in late 2014 through a joint venture with KGHM Polska Miedz SA. Abacus' share price has fallen in recent months as the company awaits a bankable feasibility study due in Q4 2011. The study is expected to show that Ajax can produce 110 million pounds of copper and 100,000 ounces of gold annually for 23 years. Abacus President Jim Excell believes the feasibility study will excite investors and help the company's share price catch up to what Ajax has to offer.
