George Mason University has an extensive art collection displayed across its multiple campuses in Virginia and the United Arab Emirates. The proposed website will feature tabs to select a campus and view artwork locations through an interactive map. It will also provide background on George Mason's role in Virginia's Art-on-Campus program and include thumbnails of artworks linked to information on titles, artists, dates, and mediums.

1. ART ON CAMPUS FAIRFAX The opening page will have several design and navigational elements including tabs for selecting the desired campus: Fairfax, Arlington, Loudon, Prince William in Virginia or Ras Al Khaimah Campus in the UAE. Text will explain George Mason’s mission in the collecting and distribution of artworks around the campuses. Later it will explain the Virginia Art-on-Campus program of which Mason would be a founder and part. a strip of selected thumbnail images from the collections (appearing on each page) which when moused over will give the name of the work of art, artist, date, and medium. interactive map that follows will be interactive as to locations of artworks and building, campus landmark names.
