Peter Bleackley has developed a hidden Markov model library inspired by an AI MOOC and is seeking contributions for further development and improvement. The library is available on PyPI and SourceForge, but is currently in alpha stage. He encourages others to help enhance features such as training, initial state distributions, and hierarchical models.
