Debu is a Muslim performing group formed in 2001 in South Jakarta, Indonesia. Many of the musicians are American but some are Indonesian. The band started casually among teachers at a university in Makassar, Indonesia. Their name "Debu" means "dust" in Indonesian and is meant to signify that the musicians are unimportant compared to the music and its message from God.
