Meditation is that which gives you deep rest.
Meditation is an activity in which the
practitioner just sits and allows the mind to
dissolve. In Art of Living, meditation is a
simplified activity which can easily be practiced
by all. Meditation is not concentration. It is de-

Not many places in the world offer a history throbbing with unique expression of art, architecture,
culture and life like Tamil Nadu. The state that has a mystical and timeless charm which has been
attracting travellers for centuries and still retains its traditional appeal amidst the modern vibrancy.

Mahabalipuram a blend of beauty, serenity and divinity
The heritage tourism destination that keeps the past intact
Sea of love on sea shore,
the Shore Temple built by the Pallava King Rajashimman in 7th
century A.D., is the earliest important structural temple in
Southern India.
The chariots of Gods,
the Pancha Rathas, named after the Pandavas and other
characters of the epic Mahabharata. UNESCO has classified
this architectural work as a World Heritage Site.
Another thriving edifice of 7th Century is the
Mahishasuramardini Cave dedicated to Hindu deities depicting
the Pallava form of arts on the walls of the cave.

in form of the world's largest bas-relief
“Arjuna’s Penance”, named after Arjuna,
one of the protagonists of Mahabharata.
It is a 27 metre long and 9 metre high
boulder consisting numerous figurines of
gods, demigods, people and animals.
Sea you soon,
this 20 km long beach sets you free for indulging in
beach activities like sunbathing, diving, wind surfing
and motor boating.
Beside the beautiful beach are various monuments,
rock-cut temples, Trimurti Cave Temple, Varaha Cave
Temple, Krishna's Butterball, Sculpture Museum,
Ganesh Ratha Temple, and Tiger’s Cave that’ll
tantalize the discerning nerve of discovery.

diving, wind surfing and motor boating along the
20 km long beach that sets you free.
Even Tide: Visit to Mayajaal
Mayajaal is an entertainment centre in Chennai, India. It is located
on the East Coast Road and spread over an area of 30 acres. It
consists of a shopping mall, a multiplex, a sports complex and a
resort. Mayajaal has 16-screen multiplex & it is one of the largest
multiplexes in Asia.

Day 2 (CHENNAI)

A Speech on “The Land of Unity in Diversity”
Lecturing by a Professor of Madras University
at Agni College of Technology.
A detailed study of India’s cultural value.

Jal tarang is a set of china bowls that are filled with
water. Each bowl is struck with a light wooden
mallet to cause it to ring. Each bowl can be tuned to
the desired frequency by varying the quantity of
water in it. These bowls are placed in a semi – circle
arrangement around the player and played. The
Jalatarang has a pleasant characteristic tone and
can be used for playing Indian Classical as well as
light music.

Day 4: (GOA)
Post Session : Visit to the beaches of Goa
The ocean is one of Earth's most valuable natural resources. It provides food in the form of
fish and shellfish—about 200 billion pounds are caught each year. It's used for
transportation—both travel and shipping. It provides a treasured source of recreation for
humans. It is mined for minerals (salt, sand, gravel, and some manganese, copper, nickel,
iron, and cobalt can be found in the deep sea) and drilled for crude oil.

Rejuvenate yourself in an ecstatic Beach Resort
The desire to visit faraway shores is so deeply woven into our collective summer
psyche that it’s practically instinctual. There’s just something about feeling sand
between your toes, a cold drink in your hand and a warm, salty breeze on your face
that simply can’t be replicated with anything else. Sometimes, only a beach resort will
do.

The Pink City.

Post Meridian : Visit to Hawa Mahal and City Palace
Hawa Mahal is a palace in Jaipur, India, so named because it
was essentially a high screen wall built so the women of the
royal household could observe street festivals while unseen
from the outside.

City Palace, Jaipur, which includes the Chandra Mahal
and Mubarak Mahal palaces and other buildings, is a
palace complex in Jaipur
Even Tide: A visit to Chokkidhani
Chokhi Dhani is a concept capturing the
vibrant spirit of Rajasthan and ensuring a
perfect Rajasthani experience. Inbound
and native tourists have a desire to
experience the unique Rajasthani culture.
The real Rajasthan, the villages, the
paintings, Bani Thani art, the wall
decorations, Dipak wall, the fresh air, the
evening performances, the enthusiasm,
the 'manuhar' (a delicate request to eat till
your heart’s desire), the traditions, the
costumes and at last but not least the

Day 7: (Delhi )
The discovery of India starts in Delhi.
A city of dramatic contrasts, Delhi is a premier
tourism destination of India and the city loves
its dichotomies. Tradition and modernity exist
side by side here. Rich history and culture, old
monuments, colonial charm and modern
marvels have all contributed to the making of
one of the most spectacular sightseeing
destinations of the world.
A tour to Delhi will motivate your mind
and captivate your heart.

Pre-dinner session Gender Equality
How do those people experience gender? How are they affected by society? Do they
experience discrimination or otherwise as a result of their non-binary gender role and sex?
Post-dinner group discussion among students to add valid inputs
to the X-file.
Post Meridian: JantarMantar, Lotus Temple, Akshardham Temple, ISKON Temple, and more…
Dinner will be followed by taking a night flight
to Chennai.

by good-byes. A farewell is necessary before you
can meet again. And meeting again, after moments
or lifetimes, is certain for those who are friends

The X-File
It is your personal hand written travelogue, with which you can immortalize your
memories of India immersion program by your own hand. It is one small initiative
form Aedx to enhance the experience of the one big trip you are going to make. With
every day of travel the information hand-outs will be added to your X-file. Aedx X-file
is similar to a germinated seed, the hand outs and your first-hand experience will
send its roots the rains. It’s up to you to put your maximum creativity as a manure to
make the seed to outgrow as tree with full of fond memories as fruits. Well, fret not
on how to go about in making it more creative,
the tropical sunshine of India has a tendency to pop ideas out of your heads like
popcorn out of an air popper.
