Protocol:

What
is
a
detox?
A
detox,
simply
put,
detoxifies
your
body
of
toxins.
There
are
many
ways
one
can
detox
the
body.
Some
ways
are
more
drastic
and
effective
than
others.
For
instance,
if
you
were
to
perform
a
water
fast
for
7
days,
you
would
yield
quicker
results
(detoxing)
than
if
you
were
to
only
eliminate
processed
foods
for
7
days.
The
more
drastic
of
a
detox
you
do,
the
more
drastic
and
effective
the
results
will
be
and
the
quicker
you’ll
detox
your
body.
If
you’re
body
is
really
toxic
(based
on
the
symptoms
above),
it’s
best
to
start
slow
by
doing
things
such
as
transitioning
to
an
all-­‐natural
(no
processed
food)
diet
for
30
days.
This
way
your
detox
symptoms
won’t
be
as
bad.
My
7-­‐day
detox
protocol
is
a
happy
medium.
It’s
not
for
the
hard
core
people
who
can
handle
a
7
day
water
fast
nor
is
it
for
those
who
are
extremely
toxic
and
need
to
detox
more
slowly.
It’s
for
the
majority.
The
people
who
posses
the
symptoms
listed
above
who
do
not
have
any
current
serious
medical
conditions.
What
are
some
symptoms
I
may
experience
during
this
7-­‐day
detox?
We
all
experience
different
detox
symptoms.
For
most,
these
symptoms
will
only
last
the
first
3-­‐4
days.
Once
you
get
passed
the
symptoms,
you
will
feel
like
a
new
person!
*If
you
ingest
caffeine
on
a
daily
basis,
I
suggest
taking
a
few
days
prior
to
the
detox
to
wean
yourself
off
of
the
caffeine.
Here
are
a
few
common
detox
symptoms:
• Flu-­‐like
symptoms
• Migraines/headaches
(especially
if
you’re
a
coffee
drinker)
• Cravings
for
junk
foods

diarrhea

sleeping/vivid
dreams
• Bloating
(from
ingesting
a
lot
of
fiber)
• Skin
breakouts
Do
not
let
these
symptoms
scare
you
off!
Believe
me,
going
through
the
detox
stage
is
more
than
worth
the
benefits
you’ll
reap
once
your
body
gets
rid
of
those
addictions.
Yes,
addictions.
Your
body
has
become
addicted
to
the
refined
sugars,
additives,
preservatives,
chemicals,
caffeine,
etc.
That
is
why
your
body
gives
you
these
detox
symptoms.
Your
body
has
gotten
so
addicted
to
these
“drugs”
that
you
literally
must
cleanse
them
out
of
your
system
in
order
to
get
rid
of
the
addiction
(similar
to
real
drugs).
What
if
I
don’t
make
it
through
all
7
days
of
the
detox?
Maybe
my
personal
experience
will
give
you
hope
–
When
I
did
my
very
first
juice
cleanse,
I
thought
I
was
going
to
die.
Seriously.
I’m
talking
headaches,
dizziness,
sore
throat,
no
energy,
etc.
I
was
so
toxic!
My
goal
was
7
days,
but
I
only
made
it
3!!
The
next
time
I
did
a
cleanse,
I
made
it
to
day
5.
As
my
body
began
to
get
cleaner,
I
was
able
to
do
7+
day
cleanses.
If
you’re
strong
enough
to
get
past
the
detox
symptoms
and
go
the
whole
7
days
of
this
cleanse,
you
WILL
see
and
feel
results.
However,
if
it’s
impossible
for
you
to
make
it
the
whole
7
days,
don’t
get
discouraged!
Give
it
a
couple
of
weeks
and
try
again!!
The
good
news
is
that
this
is
NOT
a
cleanse
where
you
just
drink
juice
all
day.

you’ll

my
protocol
makes
it

little
easier
for
you
while
still
giving

fantastic

if

make
it
