This document provides specifications for a writing portfolio assignment for Spring 2009, including a cover sheet, resume, company/product background section, creative platform, and media copy. The company/product background section must provide an overview of the product and company history, current problems, past advertising programs and themes, and how advertising can help. The creative platform must identify the product, target, objectives, features/benefits, unique selling proposition, theme, and mandatories. The media copy section lists the required media for the assignment, including consumer magazines, newspapers, radio, television, billboards, direct mail, internet, and press releases.
