The design concept for the Collins' new home in Cashiers, North Carolina focuses on embracing the natural surroundings while maintaining structural integrity. The home features views of the surrounding mountains and incorporates natural textures alongside modern materials and finishes. The multi-level home includes an in-law suite addition on the lower level to accommodate the couple's mother-in-law, as well as spaces designed for both family use and entertaining guests.

2. DESIGN CONCEPT:
The Collins’ new home in Cashiers, North Carolina, boasts multiple
views of the surrounding mountain terrain. While maintaining the
structure’s integrity, the new design embrases the natural integrity
of the surrounding, natural landscape. In addition to applying
natural textures, influences of modern materials and finisheds will
be introduced into the design. The features of this home are
designed to function as a family dwelling space, as well as for
entertaining guests. An ADA compliant in-law suite has been
added, on the lower level, for the couple’s mother-in-law.
