08:00A - 10:00A Check-Out/Return Keys Hume Dorm
Things to Do Before You Check-Out
1. Clean your room of all trash. There should be nothing in the
trashcans or anywhere else in the room or you will be
charged FEE. The whole room is responsible for making
sure the room is clean (both will be charged).
2. If you are an adult and have a security card key, make sure
to return them in your check-out bag. Not returning it before
10:00A can result in a FEE.
3. Double check that your all of your keys are accounted for
before you turn in the county packet.
Our first priority at 4-H University is the safety and security of all
of our participants. All of the directions below are designed to
ensure your safety, not to limit your enjoyment. Law enforce-
ment and security officers are under tremendous pressure during
emergency situations as they are required to enforce more rules
and regulations to ensure safety in crowds. Your positive attitude
is critical.
Remember:
1. Name tags must be worn at all times when you are out of
your dorm rooms.
2. Whenever you leave the dorm, an event, or workshop make
sure to stay in groups of three or more. Buddy system!
3. Stay aware of your surroundings and belongings while you
are at the Reitz Union and around campus. Theft can occur,
as well as other potential dangers, so make sure to remain
vigilant.
4. If you see any suspicious individuals or situations, report
them immediately to the nearest adult and your Adult in
Charge.
5. If you do not know who your Adult in Charge is, go the
University Headquarters, located on the 2nd Floor of the
Reitz Union outside the Grand Ballroom, and they can iden-
tify them for you.
6. Do not leave the Reitz Union or a workshop without the
approval of your Adult in Charge or chaperone.
7. Attend all of your assigned workshops and activities
For Minor Emergencies/Accidents at the Dorm
Contact your Floor Chair or the nearest 4-H adult. If no 4-H
adult is available, go down to the Hume registration desk.
For Minor Emergencies/Accidents at the Reitz Union
Contact your Adult in Charge or the nearest 4-H adult. If no 4-H
adult is available, call University Headquarters at 325-294-2919.
