Hannah Starkey is a British photographer born in 1971 in Belfast, Northern Ireland. She studied photography in Edinburgh and London and has been actively exhibiting her work since 1997. Starkey stages highly meticulous and preconceived photographic tableaux that depict ambiguous everyday moments. Her photos demand interpretation but resist easy explanation. She draws inspiration from photographers like Diane Arbus, Helen Levitt, Jeff Wall, and Andreas Gursky.
This document discusses various halogens including fluorine, bromine, chlorine, and iodine. It lists atomic numbers and masses for isotopes of bromine-35, bromine-81, chlorine-35, chlorine-37, and iodine-127. The document also mentions fluorine-19 and iodine-53.
System Center helps deliver IT as a service by providing tools for application management, service delivery and automation, and infrastructure management across private and public clouds. It offers capabilities for configuring, deploying, monitoring, and operating applications and services. System Center allows for delegating access to private cloud capacity, assigning actions to user roles, and simplifying application maintenance through template-driven, in-place, and image-based updates while maintaining availability. It also provides tools for monitoring and operating service delivery through integration, process automation, and reporting.
The document discusses the benefits of exercise for mental health. Regular physical activity can help reduce anxiety and depression and improve mood and cognitive functioning. Exercise causes chemical changes in the brain that may help protect against mental illness and improve symptoms.

Martin Luther King Jr. was a prominent civil rights leader in the United States known for his advocacy of nonviolent protest. He was born in 1929 in Atlanta and received degrees from Morehouse College and Crozer Theological Seminary. King co-founded the Southern Christian Leadership Conference and was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1964 for his work to end racial segregation through civil disobedience. He was assassinated in 1968 and is remembered for his iconic "I Have a Dream" speech advocating for racial equality and justice.
This document discusses transportation theory, which refers to the mental state of being fully immersed or transported into a narrative. It summarizes a transportation scale used to measure immersion based on questions about mental, emotional and attentional involvement. The history and origins of transportation theory are outlined, from early concepts of "ludic reading" to its definition by Gerrig in 1993. An example study is described that used a narrative-based learning environment to demonstrate how greater transportation or engagement led to increased learning outcomes.
Your Data Center Boundaries Don’t Exist Anymore! EMC
In the pre-cloud era, data centers were simpler to define and restrict. As organizations move to public, private, and hybrid clouds, they have to account for internal, industrial, and government compliance initiatives and oversight that impacts data center architecture and information flow. This session describes data center challenges in the Cloud Era and articulates real-life best practices to address those challenges.

The Human and Vertebrate Analysis and Annotation (HAVANA) team at the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute (WTSI) undertakes manual annotation of finished vertebrate genomic sequence. This annotation is available from the Vertebrate Genome Annotation database (VEGA) (http://vega.sanger.ac.uk) and is in progress for whole genomes (human, mouse and zebrafish) and specific regions of interest, such as pig (SLA and LRC), dog (DLA), wallaby (MHC), gorilla (MHC and LRC). Manual annotation of genomic data is extremely valuable to produce an accurate reference gene set but is expensive compared with automatic methods and so has been limited to model organisms. Annotation tools that have been developed at the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute are being used to fill that gap, as they can be used remotely and so open up viable community annotation collaborations. We introduce the “Blessed” annotator and “Gatekeeper” approach to Community Annotation using the Otterlace/ZMap genome annotation tool. We also describe the strategies adopted for annotation consistency, quality control and viewing of the annotation. We are currently involved in the annotation of immune response genes in pig and have annotated over 1700 genes in a community annotation effort, together with the sequencing and annotation of pig chromosomes X and Y at WTSI that will be displayed on the VEGA website. Presented on behalf of the HAVANA team, Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute, Wellcome Trust Genome Campus, Hinxton, Cambs UK.
