1. Concrete Safety Manager
As you may know, the Department of Buildings will require a Concrete Safety Manager to be
present on all construction sites where a minimum of 2,000 cubic yards of concrete will be
poured beginning January 1, 2009. In June 2009, the NYC DOB extended the deadline to
register such that now as of NOVEMBER 1, 2009, these individuals must be fully registered
with the Department of Buildings and have their name on the permit application.

Course Fees and Registration
Registration fee includes the cost of all seminar materials, unless otherwise indicated. Discounted course fees
available for advance registrations, for same event, paid in full prior to the class.
 Individual Course Fee: $500.00 per participant
 Group discounted Course Fee for 6 to 9 attendees: $450.00 per participant
 Group discounted Course Fee for 10 + attendees: $400.00 per participant
Any registration requires a 50% non-refundable deposit payment to confirm space (s). Full fees are
payable upon receipt of confirmation, or payment can be mailed with your registration form (all credit
card payments must be called in) no later than two weeks prior to the training event start date.
Cancellation or reschedule requests must be received at least three days in advance of the event to
receive refunded deposit payment. Otherwise all fees are subject to forfeiture. TSC reserves the right to
reschedule or cancel any program (s) for any reason, including insufficient enrollment.
DOB Registration Fee- Yet to be Announced by NYC DOB
To date, the NYC DOB has not made public the registration process for the Concrete Safety Manager.
Pending to be confirmed is if there is a monetary fee to register with the NYC Dept. of Buildings, what
application is to be used for this process and if applications will be accepted on a walk-in basis or be
available online. These details, per the NYC DOB, are expected by November 2009. Should you want to

3. 30-Hour Concrete Safety Manager Training Program
This form is to be filled in completely and returned to our office via fax, 718-389-6155 or regular mail.
Please send original form and the required non-refundable deposit to TSC’s new training center located
on 36-06 43rd Avenue, Long Island City, NY 11101. If you would like to make a payment by credit
card, please call 718-389-9520 to request a credit card authorization form and a member of the TSC
training dept. will process the payment upon receipt of the completed form. If you will be paying by
check, a copy of the check must be included at the time the registration form(s) is returned via fax and
the original payment should immediately be sent via mail. Your space will not be guaranteed without
a non- refundable deposit payment of 50% of total course fees.

such instances, deposits will be returned or applied towards next available program.
Cancellations will be accepted up to (3) business days prior to start of training and deposit will
