Australia.
First day of the 3 days in Sydney (City highlights)
Breakfast at Darling Harbour
Starting to see the city highlights in your 3 days in Sydney, we recommend having the breakfast
at the Cockle Bay Wharf overlooking the bay. SEA LIFE Aquarium and Madame Tussauds is
just footsteps to Darling Harbour. And one of the options to add to your itinerary after breakfast.
Visit Barangaroo Reserve
A 20 minutes’ walk gets you to Sydney’s newest Harbour foreshore park located at the west side
of the Sydney. A perfect place for a picnic or captures the Harbour bridge and city in one frame.
2. Sydney Observatory
Formally a defence fort, Sydney Observatory affords million-dollar views of the Bridge and the
Sydney Harbour from a different angle than Barangaroo. Nested in the centre of the city, you can
enter to this place via Agar steps (Kent street). If your accommodation close to here, this is one
of the best spots to capture Sydney at night.

3. The Rocks
This is our next stop on the first day of 3 Days in Sydney itinerary. An area having a history
related to convicts, but famous for artisan markets among Sydneysiders. The Rocks markets held
every Saturday and Sunday and the perfect place to buy a souvenir to take home. Cadman’s
Cottage, the headquarters of Water transport in the early day is one of the attractions you can see
at The Rocks.
Pylon lookout
Offering spectacular panoramic views of the city of the Sydney, Pylon lookout stands remains
one of the highest viewing points of the Sydney. Getting to Pylon lookout is not for all travellers
and you need to climb nearly 200 stairs.
Sydney Opera House
A symbol of 20th century architecture, Sydney Opera House is the most monumental structure
you will find in Australia. A multi-venue performing art centre at the Sydney Harbour is a
creation of Danish architect Jørn Utzon. There are many tours available to see the Opera house
and one of the best vantage points to see Sydney NYE fireworks.
Mrs Macquarie’s chair
Our last stop for the first day of the 3 days in Sydney is Mrs Macquarie’s chair or Lady
Macquarie's Chair. Located close to the Opera house, and the eastern edge of the Royal Botanic
Gardens, this is a sandstone rock cut into the shape of a bench. From our point of view, this is the
best vantage points in Sydney.
4. Day two of the 3 days in Sydney (Day Tour)
In between the day one and three, day 2 of the 3 days in Sydney is the best day to arrange a day
tour leaves Sydney. There are many day tours leaves from Sydney to popular attractions. If you
are looking for a grape escape and wanted taste best of Semillon, Hunter Valley wine tour is the
best option you have. Not only wines, but Hunter is also famous for artisan chocolates, craft
beers and cheese as well. Read our article on Hunter Valley Wine Tours for more info.
The most visited destination in Sydney is Blue Mountains by travellers and a great outdoor place
for sightseeing. We have covered Blue Mountains in our other articles and provided with tips for

Highlands.
5. Day three Sydney itinerary
It is the final day of your 3 days in Sydney and below is our suggested itinerary. On the final day,
we also suggest leaving some room to relax as well.
Bondi to Bronte Coastal Walk
Spectacular views and beachfront make this coastal walk famous among locals and visitors. The
Bronte walk covers Bondi, Tamarama, and Bronte beaches, and the total length is approximate 4
km. This walk contains steep hills and considers this before opt-in. Buses leave from Bondi
junction is the cheapest way to access this popular coastal walk, and you can catch 333, 380, and
381 busses to access Bronte walk.
Ferry to Watson bay
Another spectacular harbourside located in the Eastern suburbs. And one of the popular spots for
whale watching during the season. However, we love the seafood restaurants at Watson bay and
a platter of fresh lobster, and prawns with a glass of sparkling is a perfect way to complete the
short 3 day itinerary in Sydney. Watson bay also popular for paddleboarding if that’s in your to-
do list. Getting to Watson bay is easy and a 20 min ferry ride from Circular quay is the cheapest
option.
Shopping at QVB
It is time to complete the 3 days Sydney tour with some shopping to take home. Queen Victoria
Building (QVB) in George street is a perfect location. This heritage-listed building is the house
for all your souvenir purchases and there are shops to buy Opal gems, Aboriginal Arts, etc.
