This document discusses calculating the particle size distribution curve (S-curve) for crushed stone aggregate with a diameter (D) of 30.5 mm. The aggregate was sieved using sieves with diameters ranging from 0.147 to 40 mm. Equations are provided to calculate the cumulative percentage passing (S) for each sieve size based on the sieve diameter (d) and aggregate diameter (D). A table shows the calculated S values ranging from 3.69% to 122.82%. A graph is also presented plotting the S-curve and S'-curve, with S' calculated as a percentage based only on the ratio of sieve to aggregate diameters.
