To whoever that this may concern to from the BBC,

In this letter I will express my concern about the comments made by David
Starkey on news night.

Mr Starkey has upset many people by blaming the rights on just black people; this is
scapegoating and should not be permitted, his remarks have been taken as racist
comments and that is against the race relations act 2000 which s against all racist
acts.

Starkey is an intelligent man who lots of people respect because of his contributions
to history there for lots of people look up to him and his spreading the racism on the
BBC through his comments on the program news night. The BBC is a public
broadcaster and should only be broadcasting programs that are useful to society
because it is funded by the public.

He also broke some editors Guidelines, 5.4.39 and 5.4.38, and OFCOM didn’t
respond to his rule breaking and called this situation “debateable” which is appalling
because they are not respecting blacks, this also institutional racism by OFCOM.

Throughout his contributions to in the program he showed aggression and dislike, we
could see this from his body language and tone of voice, for instance this happened
when he established “ the whites have become black” because we could see his
rotten manor. This comment has upset many people throughout the country because
it is rude and arrogant metaphor.

I am extremely horrified that no cause of action has been taken to put justice back in
place and nothing is been done about this man. In my opinion he should be punished
by being banned from TV. I’m surprised why the BBC haven’t apologised about this,
black people are part of this society and their money also keeps this organisation
going..
