This group will be given at least 2 minutes to
research about Visual Arts. They need to mention
what are the art forms that belongs to Visual arts.
They will then be task to give/show example of
visual arts from the Regions. They will then present
to the group what they’ve researched, and show
their examples. (They can also make their own
example)
Group 2
This group will be given a definition of Performing Arts.
First, they have to mention and identify what are the arts
that belongs to performing arts. Then, they will share
their understanding in class. They can share/perform
examples from the internet or they can create their own
example.

means it combines several mediums to
create new and unique artwork.

the creation of certain aesthetic qualities, in a

 Film is a form of visual art use to imitate
experiences that communicate ideas, stories,
or feelings with the use of moving images. It
is also called a movie or motion picture.
Moreover, the art form that is the result of
the film is called cinema (Faber & Walters,
2003).

• A person doing certain actions and
movements in front of an audience that go
along with sound in a space and time is
called Performing Arts.

 Music is a collection of coordinated sound or
sounds.
 Filipino Music had already a rich and unique
musical tradition long before westerners set
foot on our native land.

 Music was present in every stage of our
ancestors’ lives — from birth to death, in blissful
or tragic times.

 Theatre is a collaborative form of fine art that uses live
performers to present the experience of a real or
imagined event before a live audience in a specific
place.
 The performers may communicate this experience to
the audience through combinations of 12 gesture,
speech, song, music, or dance.

 Dance, the movement of the body in a rhythmic way,
usually to music and within a given space, for the
purpose of expressing an idea or emotion, releasing
energy, or simply taking delight in the movement itself.

This group will create their own painting/drawing
and apply some elements that they got from other
regions based on the discussion. They will then
explain their artwork and what makes it
contemporary.
This group will be assigned to make a literary
work; it could be a poem or a spoken poetry
and they will present it in the class. They should
connect it to the different arts from the regions
and what makes it a contemporary art.
This group will be tasked to create a music using the human
sound. They can imitate songs from the past/present, some
member of the group can sing, the rest of the members will be
the instrument but they will use human sound. They will then
explain what makes their presentation a contemporary art.
