REQUIREMENTS TO FILE A DEGREE PLAN [Declare a specific major in business]:	
_____ Be a pre-business major
_____ Have a grade point average of 3.25 or higher (at the time of filing) at UH
_____ Complete the UH Core and college requirements listed under Section 1 with a passing grade
_____ Complete each Pre-business course under Section 2 with a grade of “C” or higher
_____ Complete STAT 3331 under Section 3 with a passing grade
_____ Clear the Business Writing Evaluation (BWE), and if required, the Business Writing Tutorial (BWT)
File a degree plan online at www.bauer.uh.edu/undergraduate. Pre-business students must file a degree plan by the end of the semester in
which they complete 45 or more credit hours. Students who transfer to UH with 45 or more credit hours must file a degree plan by the
end of their first semester at UH, unless an exception is approved by UBP. An advising appointment is not required to file a degree plan.
Section 4: ADDITIONAL UH CORE COURSES	
•Residency Requirements: Last 30 hours of coursework towards a degree must be completed exclusively at the University of Houston. Concurrent enrollment at UH
and another institution is not considered in residence.

MIXED PROGRAM REGISTRATION GROUP: Academic Advisor permission is required for pre-business majors to enroll in 3000-level business courses

	 • Successfully complete or currently be enrolled in Section 1, 2 and 3 courses of the BBA Degree Plan

	 • Enrollment in 4000-level courses requires a degree plan on file.
