This document discusses giving to the Lord's work. It says to give according to your willingness and ability, not out of grudging or leaving God your leftovers. All were given different amounts by God and will be rewarded based on their effort, not the size of what they were given. Men and women who had resources or giftedness contributed materials for the work commanded by God. The children of Israel brought freewill offerings willingly for God's glory. They brought more than enough each morning for the work because their hearts were moved by God.

ALL KINDS of WORK which the Lord, by the
HAND of MOSES, had commanded to be
done.”

17. 36:3 Notice the regularity
“…every morning”
The people bring MUCH MORE THAN ENOUGH for
the SERVICE of the WORK which the LORD
commanded to do.
Why? Because they were moved in their heart, their
spirits were willing, they tapped what they had and
knew for the cause of God’s kingdom.
