Yoogle - Directory Search

- #2 This is the story of taking the static 529 page 2014 annual directory listing of all YMCAs in the United States and transforming that directory to a web application with fast, flexible search. Version 1.0 include a straightforward, wild-card like search. Fast! Planned enhancements include search by revenue ranges (based on annual Statistical Summary also published annually by YMCA of the USA), as well as employee lookups as well. Further envisioned enhancements include creating an iOS app that will initially simply invoke a web browser to access the application from a dedicated app on the iOS platform. And of course, annual updates will include each new year’s YMCA directory content as it is published. Publishing the YMCA directory is a constitutional requirement of YMCA of the USA. This is an independent effort and in no way obligates or implies endorsement by YMCA of the USA.
