Kalyn Williams, a junior at Arkansas Tech majoring in Ag Business and Animal Science, is interning at the livestock farm. She is from Waldron, Arkansas and grew up on a cattle ranch, writing a paper on rotational grazing and hoping to own a small cattle and horse farm. Connor McClelland, a senior soil science major at Kansas State University from San Diego, California, is interning at the horticulture farm, experimenting with intercropping and soil amendments and plans to help train farmers in Haiti after graduation.
