Gentlemen
The championship shall be decided by stroke play over four days with 18 holes being
played on each day.
Ladies
The championship shall be decided by stroke play over three days with 18 holes being
played on each day.
The tournament is played in accordance with the Rules of Golf of the R & A Rules Limited
(incl. The Rules of Amateur Status), the Conditions of Play of the Austrian Golf
Association (Hard-Card) and such Local Rules as approved by the Championship
Committee.
Eligible
156 players – 42 Ladies and 114 Gentleman -- including 12 Wild Cards awarded by the
Sports Director of the Austrian Golf Association -- which are amateurs and members in
an affiliated Austrian or foreign club and have an exact handicap not exceeding –3,0
(gentlemen) or -7,0 (ladies), which must be certified by the home club or federation.
Entries will be limited to 156 and when entries exceed this number, players with the
highest handicaps will be balloted out. There will be a waiting list.

CUT
Ladies
After 36 holes the top 15 players and all ties are qualified for the third round.
Gentleman
After 36 holes the top 90 players and all ties are qualified for the third round.
After 54 holes the top 60 players and all ties are qualified for the final round.

All entries have to be submitted ONLINE on the website of the Austrian Golf Association

Prizes
The winner receives the challenge trophy, which will remain with the Austrian Golf
Association, and a memento. Prizes up to the 3rd rank.

Austria Cup
Team event for national squads
Gentleman
Stroke play over 54 holes for national teams consisting of max. 3 men each.
Ladies
Stroke play over 36 holes for national teams consisting of max. 3 ladies each.
The aggregate of the 2 best scores of the team during the first three rounds of the
International Championship will count. In case of a tie the best individual score will
prevail, if a tie still arises, the best 18, 9, 6, 3, 1 holes of the last round of the best
individual score will decide.
Each national union may be represented by max. 3 teams.
A minimum of 3 participating teams are required.
