Collect
Keep
us,
oh
God,
from
pettiness;
let
us
be
large
in
thought,
in
word,
in
deed,
Let
us
be
done
with
fault-‐finding
and
leave
off
self-‐seeking
May
we
put
away
all
pretense
and
meet
each
other
face
to
face
–without
self-‐pity
and
without
Prejudice.
May
we
never
be
hasty
in
judgment
and
always
generous.
Let
us
take
time
for
all
things:
make
us
grow
calm,
serene,
gentle
Teach
us
to
put
into
action
our
better
impulses,
straightforward
and
unafraid.
Grant
that
we
may
realize
it
is
the
little
things
that
create
differences,
that
in
the
big
things
of
life
we
are
at
one.
And
may
we
strive
to
touch
and
to
know
the
great,
common
human
heart
of
us
all,
and,
Oh,
Lord
God,
let
us
forget
not
to
be
kind.
Benedict:
This
Emblem
binds
us
all
In
one
great
sisterhood.
It
bids
us
heed
our
conscience
call
For
nobler
womanhood
God
grant
us
when
we
wear
This
emblem
o’er
our
heart
And
keep
us
true
and
always
fair
God
bless
us
as
we
part.

During
the
2
hours
of
the
meeting,
we
watched
the
documentary
Patriocracy
that
was
followed
by
a
discussion
on
the
film.
Some
ideas
for
action
which
we
discussed/were
suggested
are:
• Meet
with
you
representatives
when
they
are
in
their
home
district
and
a)
ask
how
they
are
friendly
with
the
representatives
on
the
other
side
of
the
aisle
and
b)
encourage
them
to
reach
out
to
the
other
side.
Do
your
homework
on
the
representative
before
meeting
with
them.
• Watch
the
debates
with
friends,
perhaps
over
a
potluck
&
then
discuss
the
debates
• Encourage
people
to
view
Patriocracy
before
the
debates
• Encourage
great
people
to
run
for
office
