Project Description:
Resource needed for solution integration engineering involving solutions containing
CICS and Websphere components
Responsibilities:
This resource will need to ensure that the infrastructure aligns with Architecture designs
Reporting on the progress of design development, organizing design and engineering
discussions with the necessary areas,
Driving the issues to resolution, providing accurate cost estimates for business case
submission
Tracking metrics for project level business designs including (but not limited to) reduced
resubmissions to the DCC process, increased overall efficiency on the submission of
designs and higher degree of accuracy for the work and infrastructure investments as
required.
Required Skills:
Knowledgeable in application integration scenarios involving MQ, DB2, SQL in
distributed and mainframe oriented environments
Technical expertise in evaluation of designs, construction and documentation of solutions
using VISIO
Experience with internal JAVA development processes, determination of number of
application environments needed as well as the sizing of those environments on AIX,
Linux, ZO/S platforms
Ability to assess current application implementations and determine methods of
scalability and increased usage
