2. CONSERVATIVE HAVE DONE IT AGAIN
October 8th 1959
So the Conservative Party have done it again, 365 seats, 20 more than the last vote, top of the
table, 48.8% of UK’s votes, they’re doing great, and the Labour Party are bitterly disappointed
which is just what us Conservatives would like to here.
Thanks to Harold Macmillan we are currently having an economic boom. Conservatives have
gained 20 more seats than the last vote and Labour lost 19 seats.
