Alive is an organization that aims to reduce suicide among young Australians aged 15-25 through various intervention and prevention programs. It provides knowledge and support to help clients overcome issues leading to suicidal ideation and achieve mental wellbeing. Alive's holistic approach uses clinical psychology and alternative therapies like art, animals and martial arts. It hosts events to raise funds and awareness for its work preventing suicide, which is a leading cause of death among young Australians.
Embracing Life is a north-wide, cross-disciplinary partnership that facilitates action to reduce suicide by sharing the strengths of communities and working together through health promotion, suicide prevention, intervention and post-vention. We all have a role to play when it comes to suicide prevention and health promotion, and Embracing Life encourages communities to take ownership by bringing ideas forward and committing to positive, on-going change in partnership with front line workers and agencies across the north.
Dear women it is not our physical strength which pulls us back it is our low confidence and our fear which makes us weak. Learn to act at right time, with right technique and at right place to keep yourself safe.

Hallo!

The latest (2014) statistical reference from Australian Bureau of Statistics cites suicide to be the LEADING cause of
death for those aged 15 to 44.
The lost of a loved one is a life changing event
that only affects the living.
The ripple effects of the lost is tremendous and traumatic.
The overwhelming waves of confusion, guilt, shame and sadness drains
those that are left behind and metaphorically
kills them with every memory.
