Are you stuck in a job you detest? Do you have to drag your feet to work every day because it’s the last place you want to be? Well, people who have their “dream jobs” don’t understand these problems.
But what are the world’s dreamiest jobs?
This is a presentation I gave at the Sept. Milwaukee Interactive Marketing Association Meeting in 2013. It talks about how I found my passion and created my "Dream Job."
Building positive character traits when working benefits both individuals and their employers. It fosters responsibility, productivity, honesty, and mutual respect. Positive character also improves teamwork and performance by allowing employees to jointly set goals. Financial institutions in particular would benefit from efforts to build positive character, as this could help prevent abuses of power and financial scandals that often result from a lack of strict supervision and character development for ambitious employees.
This document discusses the importance of thinking about your current career and future career path. It recommends taking time when relaxed from work to reflect on your career journey so far, your competencies, and how to continue progressing in your field. Key factors in a successful career include a willingness to work hard, learn continuously, have faith, see opportunities ahead, and take on new challenges to further develop skills and achievements over time. Proactively guiding one's career leads to greater respect and success.

It explores how technological advances will transform careers and the skills needed in the future, which will include creativity, complex problem solving, and the ability to generate new ideas. The session emphasizes educating students to develop skills like curiosity, passion, synthesis, and seeing from multiple perspectives to prepare for jobs that may not even exist yet. Attendees are challenged to rethink learning and teaching models to best support students for an uncertain future.
Where Are The Jobs! Presentation By Lenin Gross 2010.Len_Gross
The document discusses issues related to unemployment and underemployment in the United States. It notes that over 8 million Americans are unemployed, with long-term unemployment over 6 months affecting 44% of the unemployed. It argues that the U.S. government uses a "triage approach" that does not adequately address the problem. The document calls for innovations to create new jobs and prepare workers for a changing economy.

At Officevibe, we end our daily standup meetings with an inspirational quote to start the day on a positive note.
Whoever’s turn it is to speak holds a basketball, and the last one to speak has to come up with a quote of the day.
Everyone puts their finger on the ball, and when the quote is said, the ball gets thrown up in the air and we all say “think about it”, as a reminder to really let the hidden meaning of the quote sink in.

This document provides tips for landing a first customer. It advises starting by offering potential customers a simple, free piece of help related to the problem being solved rather than immediately introducing the product or service. This builds trust by showing understanding of their complex needs. The next step is to listen to learn about their situation and solutions tried before leveling with them about options considered. The goal is for the customer and business to collaboratively develop a solution, with the business explaining what their product can and cannot do. Introducing the product fully only after understanding the customer's needs and determining if trust has been built.
