Therefore, Leonardo ENERGY has produced this eco-sheet to help clarifying the issue. The environmental burden of generating one kWh from 7 different energy sources is quantified. It shows that there is no silver bullet solution, but there are advantages to explore.

Ecotec heat pumps utilize low-temperature heat sources like air and ground to provide usable heat for heating and hot water. They extract renewable heat from these natural sources using only 25% as much electrical energy. This means 75% of the heat comes from free, renewable sources. Ecotec heat pumps can save homeowners money on heating costs compared to gas or oil boilers, while also reducing their carbon emissions.
The document discusses two scenarios for providing electricity to a facility:
Scenario 1 involves generating 100% of the facility's electricity needs from on-site gas generators. Scenario 2 uses both gas generators (52% of needs) and the existing electricity grid (48% of needs). It is produced by Greenera Energy India Pvt Ltd in Coimbatore, India.
