The Quality Migrant Admission Scheme (QMAS) is a points-based immigration system in Hong Kong that aims to attract highly skilled immigrants to boost the economy. Under QMAS, successful immigrants are allowed to bring their unmarried partners and dependent children under 18 to Hong Kong. Applicants must meet eligibility criteria including a minimum age of 18, sufficient language skills, educational background, good character with no criminal record, and ability to financially support themselves and their dependents. Candidates are assessed based on a general points test or achievement-based points test, and those who score enough points will be granted visas.
