Welcome to Alice Springs! On arrival, you will be met by an Alice Springs Holidays representative for a complimentary transfer
to your hotel. Following check in we will take you to the Alice Springs Desert Park. Enjoy a relaxing stroll through the 3 major
desert habitats, complete with walk through aviaries. The Desert Park is home to the world’s largest nocturnal house and
breeding programmes for many endangered species of the Australian bush. Be enthralled by the free flying raptor display at
Nature’s Theatre.

West MacDonnell Ranges ‐ Day 2 BLR
Venture west for a day of panoramic mountain scenery, visiting tranquil waterholes, rocky gorges, dramatic natural gaps and
clefts carved from the ranges. Bird life abounds in the sheltered environment of the mountain valleys and the area is home to
the local species of Black footed Rock Wallaby which is regularly sighted. Swim in the cool waterholes and explore the walking
trails with your informative guide on hand to cater to your curiosity. The Ochre Pits offer a fascinating insight into the many
traditional uses of this natural pigment. Visiting the grave of Flying Doctor pioneer Rev John Flynn provides a poignant

As we head due west avoiding the hustle and crowds of the main highway, our outback adventure begins with a first hand
insight into Aboriginal culture at Wallace Rockhole. Venture into the spirited land of the Western Arrentte people and you are
exposed to an expansive living cultural landscape in the company of only a few others. Whether you spend your time learning
of the ancient cultures of traditional owners, or exploring the stunning flora and fauna with a local guide, come face to face
with this irresistible land, as your senses come alive. Further on, we navigate the track into the comet impact crater called
Gosse Bluff to enjoy a picnic lunch beneath the torn battlements of this 140 million yo. phenomena. After our leisurely lunch
we venture by outback dirt road along the Red Centre Way before arriving late afternoon at the foot of George Gill Range.

gentler stroll through the Canyon floor, amid abundant bird life and ancient cycad plants. Our next stop is Uluru, enroute we
enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the expansive landscapes of changing eco systems, vast salt lakes and the mesa‐like formation of
Mt Connor. Arrive Ayers Rock Resort and check into your hotel. This afternoon we visit the Uluru ‐ Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre,
followed by an exploratory tour with your guide, of the base of this unique monolith. The crowning touch to the day is a
champagne sunset, featuring fine Australian foods and sparkling wine.

Alice Springs Holidays operates tours throughout Australia. These tours involve travel through outback areas which are sometimes remote
and isolated. For these reasons we reserve the right to alter itineraries, accommodation and transport as the necessity arises by way of
weather, road, mechanical defect or any other operational conditions. (We strongly recommend Travel Insurance) Any personal expenses
incurred by a passenger as a result of any delay, alteration or curtailment of any tour, is at the sole responsibility of the passenger. Alice
Springs Holidays is unable to guarantee exact arrival and departure times and is not liable for any failure to make connection with or
guarantee operation of any particular service. Any unused portion, of a tour or holiday, for what ever reason, is not refundable. Whilst Alice
Springs Holidays will take all reasonable steps to provide an enjoyable tour, Alice Springs Holidays accepts no liability for any loss of
enjoyment whatsoever or howsoever experienced by the passenger. Alice Springs Holidays or it's representative has absolute discretion to
withdraw from or curtail any person/s participation in any tour or activity, who due to their mental or physical condition, is such as to render
them incapable of caring for themselves, or become objectionable to other passengers, or they become a hazard to themselves or other
passengers.
Concessions: Persons under the age of 5 years are considered to be infants and will require a seat of their own on extended tours. A nominal
charge will be made ‐ please contact Alice Springs Holidays with details. Persons 5 years to 12 years are considered to be children when
sharing with a minimum of two adults. Please contact Alice Springs Holidays with details, to avail the most suitable arrangements for a
family. Alternative accommodation more suited to families is available than has been listed.
Smoking: By way of Government and Company regulations, smoking is prohibited inside our vehicles, however frequent stops are made for
the comfort and enjoyment of all passengers.
What to Bring: Casual comfortable clothing is recommended for day wear. Warm layered clothing for winter, light loose clothing for summer.
Neat casual dress is required for some restaurants. Strong footwear and a hat. Several changes including warm clothes for early morning and
evenings are recommended, personal toiletries, cameras, sunscreen and a small flask for drinking water.

Cancellation Fees Extended Tour: Cancellation must be made in writing and such notice is not effective until received by the company during
normal working hours. If a tour has commenced there will be no refund of fare or unused portion of tour. The following fees apply to each
individual person on cancellation when travelling on a public tour.

Travel Insurance: A travel Insurance policy purchased in the country of origin covering loss of deposit, airfares, accommodation charges,
medical expenses, loss or damage to personal property and repatriation expenses is strongly recommended. The insurance should cover loss
arising from the passenger’s inability to travel due to any reason whatsoever. Alice Springs Holidays accepts no responsibility for any loss,
damages or expenses incurred by a person travelling.
Luggage: Maximum weight of all luggage is 20kg (44lbs). Alternative arrangements can be made for excess luggage and all luggage is carried
at ‘owners risk’. Alice Springs Holidays accepts no responsibility for loss, damage or otherwise of luggage.
