This hymn praises God as holy three times, describing Him as the Lord God Almighty. It refers to God in three persons as the blessed Trinity. The saints in heaven and angels cast down their crowns and fall down before God, acknowledging that He was, is and always shall be holy, perfect in power, love and purity.

Musical Instruments in Worship
Why acceptable in worship or not?
Arguments in favor or not?
Challenging time?
Most people in religious world says, who cares? Under
grace?
Doing it the way we like it?
Is it a mentality?
Issue is, how we approach the scriptures.
Leviticus in order to approach the Lord...
2 things had to happen:
1. The worshiper must be holy (Leviticus 11:45, I Peter 1:16)
45 I am the Lord, who brought you up out of Egypt to be your God; therefore be holy, because I am holy.
16 for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.”[a]
2. That which is "holy" must be used in worship. (10:1-
3,10)
Moses explains that which the Lord did not command. Can we come to the Lord to anything we want?
The main parts of Psalms book 5
Poetically this is poetically like Deuteronomy which was the last month of Moses life and as the promised land was about ot be entered
Book 5 of the Psalms can be looked at as songs of longing of going home, home ultimately being heaven
The main parts being, the Hallal passover psalms, the psalms of ascent, David's last run of Psalms where we are moved from laying down are harps and weeping to all kings singing of God and a final example of Davids praise and one prase Psalm for each book as a fitting end.
A song, scripture and prayer service using “Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee” to reminds us of the Joy of Salvation, the Joy of Creation, the Joy of Fellowship and the Joy of Victory.

The Signs of Easter - May 26, 2019 The 6th Sunday of EasterRedeemerWV
Signs. Signs. Everywhere are signs...
But are there really? Sunday we'll be hearing again the story of the conversion of Lydia told in Acts 16. We see a heart opened by God that hears the Word and receives the gifts from Word and Baptism to create faith. Then we see evidence of that faith in good works.

2. Holy, holy, holy! Lord God
Almighty!
Early in the morning our song
shall rise to thee.
Holy, holy, holy! Merciful and
mighty!
God in three Persons, blessed
Trinity!
3. Holy, holy, holy! All the saints
adore thee,
casting down their golden crowns
around the glassy sea;
cherubim and seraphim falling
down before thee,
which wert and art, and evermore
shalt be.
4. Holy, holy, holy! though the
darkness hide thee,
though the eye made blind by sin
thy glory may not see,
only thou art holy; there is none
beside thee,
perfect in power, in love and purity.
5. Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty!
All thy works shall praise thy name,
in earth, and sky, and sea;
Holy, holy, holy! Merciful and
mighty!
God in three persons, blessed
Trinity!
