Product Design Trends in 2024 | Teenage EngineeringsPixeldarts
The realm of product design is a constantly changing environment where technology and style intersect. Every year introduces fresh challenges and exciting trends that mold the future of this captivating art form. In this piece, we delve into the significant trends set to influence the look and functionality of product design in the year 2024.
How Race, Age and Gender Shape Attitudes Towards Mental HealthThinkNow
Mental health has been in the news quite a bit lately. Dozens of U.S. states are currently suing Meta for contributing to the youth mental health crisis by inserting addictive features into their products, while the U.S. Surgeon General is touring the nation to bring awareness to the growing epidemic of loneliness and isolation. The country has endured periods of low national morale, such as in the 1970s when high inflation and the energy crisis worsened public sentiment following the Vietnam War. The current mood, however, feels different. Gallup recently reported that national mental health is at an all-time low, with few bright spots to lift spirits.
To better understand how Americans are feeling and their attitudes towards mental health in general, ThinkNow conducted a nationally representative quantitative survey of 1,500 respondents and found some interesting differences among ethnic, age and gender groups.
Technology
For example, 52% agree that technology and social media have a negative impact on mental health, but when broken out by race, 61% of Whites felt technology had a negative effect, and only 48% of Hispanics thought it did.
While technology has helped us keep in touch with friends and family in faraway places, it appears to have degraded our ability to connect in person. Staying connected online is a double-edged sword since the same news feed that brings us pictures of the grandkids and fluffy kittens also feeds us news about the wars in Israel and Ukraine, the dysfunction in Washington, the latest mass shooting and the climate crisis.
Hispanics may have a built-in defense against the isolation technology breeds, owing to their large, multigenerational households, strong social support systems, and tendency to use social media to stay connected with relatives abroad.
Age and Gender
When asked how individuals rate their mental health, men rate it higher than women by 11 percentage points, and Baby Boomers rank it highest at 83%, saying it’s good or excellent vs. 57% of Gen Z saying the same.
Gen Z spends the most amount of time on social media, so the notion that social media negatively affects mental health appears to be correlated. Unfortunately, Gen Z is also the generation that’s least comfortable discussing mental health concerns with healthcare professionals. Only 40% of them state they’re comfortable discussing their issues with a professional compared to 60% of Millennials and 65% of Boomers.
Race Affects Attitudes
As seen in previous research conducted by ThinkNow, Asian Americans lag other groups when it comes to awareness of mental health issues. Twenty-four percent of Asian Americans believe that having a mental health issue is a sign of weakness compared to the 16% average for all groups. Asians are also considerably less likely to be aware of mental health services in their communities (42% vs. 55%) and most likely to seek out information on social media (51% vs. 35%).
AI Trends in Creative Operations 2024 by Artwork Flow.pdfmarketingartwork
Creative operations teams expect increased AI use in 2024. Currently, over half of tasks are not AI-enabled, but this is expected to decrease in the coming year. ChatGPT is the most popular AI tool currently. Business leaders are more actively exploring AI benefits than individual contributors. Most respondents do not believe AI will impact workforce size in 2024. However, some inhibitions still exist around AI accuracy and lack of understanding. Creatives primarily want to use AI to save time on mundane tasks and boost productivity.
Organizational culture includes values, norms, systems, symbols, language, assumptions, beliefs, and habits that influence employee behaviors and how people interpret those behaviors. It is important because culture can help or hinder a company's success. Some key aspects of Netflix's culture that help it achieve results include hiring smartly so every position has stars, focusing on attitude over just aptitude, and having a strict policy against peacocks, whiners, and jerks.

Google's Just Not That Into You: Understanding Core Updates & Search IntentLily Ray
1. Core updates from Google periodically change how its algorithms assess and rank websites and pages. This can impact rankings through shifts in user intent, site quality issues being caught up to, world events influencing queries, and overhauls to search like the E-A-T framework.
2. There are many possible user intents beyond just transactional, navigational and informational. Identifying intent shifts is important during core updates. Sites may need to optimize for new intents through different content types and sections.
3. Responding effectively to core updates requires analyzing "before and after" data to understand changes, identifying new intents or page types, and ensuring content matches appropriate intents across video, images, knowledge graphs and more.

D3J4-Vu : ödemesen olmaz ödemeyene hırsız derler biliyorsun (13:21)
D3J4-Vu : yediğin yemeğin dahi hesabını öderken, ağzının hesabını sormaz mı
zannediyorsun Allah (13:21)
D3J4-Vu : Ayakkabı alıp para ödüyorsun. Kabının hesabını ödeyip ayağın hesabı
yok mu sanıyorsun (13:21)
Eleman: hmm borcumu ödemek için iyilik yapıcam, başımı kapatmadım diyede
yanarak cezamı çekicem (13:22)
D3J4-Vu : ceza başını kapatmadın diye değil (13:22)
D3J4-Vu : Allah'ın emrine karşı geldin diye (13:22)
D3J4-Vu : Mesela komutan askerine buraya gel diye emir verir (13:22)
D3J4-Vu : iki adımlık bir yerdir (13:22)
5. D3J4-Vu : fakat asker oraya gitmezse emre itaatsizlikten yargılanır (13:22)
D3J4-Vu : Annen ve baban müslüman mı? (13:25)
Eleman: evet (13:25)
D3J4-Vu : yani bir çocuk yaptıklarında o çocuğun Allah'a borçlu olacağını
D3J4-Vu : Mesela şimdi ben senden adresini alsam yanına gelsem (13:26)
D3J4-Vu : önüne yirmi dört tane cumhuriyet altını bıraksam (13:26)
D3J4-Vu : bunlar senin desem (13:26)
6. D3J4-Vu : ister kabul et ister etme bırakıp gitsem (13:26)
D3J4-Vu : ne demek dersin, 1 değil 10'unu harcayayayım dersin (13:27)
D3J4-Vu : zaten senin altınlar (13:27)
D3J4-Vu : e sana her gün Allah 24 saat veriyor, 5 vakit namaz abdestiyle birlikte
(13:29)
Eleman: bak ben cidden çak fazla düşündüm sırf bunun için yüksek dozda
antidepresanlar kullandım.. ve şu an doğru yolu bulduğuma inanıyorum.. Tanrı
bana altın vermiyor beni sadece cezalandırıyor, bence onun benden bir özür borcu
var (13:32)
Eleman: benim ona borcum yok (13:32)
Eleman: ama yinede hz. Muhammed'e saygım sonsuz.. Çünkü dünyayı cidden o
dönemler düzene soktu (13:35)
D3J4-Vu : sen dışına vurmasan da vicdanın şu anda yalnızca kaçtığının farkında
(13:36)
veriyorsun (13:37)
7. D3J4-Vu : yoksa zeytinyağının kendisine paha biçilemez (13:38)
D3J4-Vu : peki zeytinyağını kime ödeyeceğiz (13:38)
D3J4-Vu : eğer Allah'a borcumuz yok desek zeytin ağacını tanımak zorunda kalırız
aciziz (13:39)
D3J4-Vu : seneye de bizi unutma teşekkür ederiz desen (13:39)
D3J4-Vu : ağacın dili olsa ne der (13:39)
D3J4-Vu : "Ey ahmak insan! bende yağ ne arar. Ben bir çamur yerim. Al benim
kökümü başımı, dalımı budağımı, saçımı saçağımı sık parçala bir damla yağ çıkmaz
benden" (13:40)
D3J4-Vu : Allah Kur'an'da "Fenzur ilâ eseri rahmetillah" diyor.
8. Eleman: intihar edenlerin dindeki yerini biliyorsun (13:42)
D3J4-Vu : İntihar konusunda sorun nedir? (13:41)
Eleman: ama o kişi bilinçli yapmıyor onu (13:42)
Eleman: kanserden ölmek gibi (13:43)
D3J4-Vu : kanserden ölmek intihar değil ki (13:43)
D3J4-Vu : hatta salgın hastalıklardan vebadan falan ölen şehit sayılıyor (13:43)
D3J4-Vu : hadiste yeri var (13:43)
Eleman: major depresyonda hastalık (13:44)
Eleman: ruh hastalığı (13:44)
D3J4-Vu : öncelikle şunu belirteyim ki intihar eden insan cehennemliktir fakat
kâfirlik başka şeydir. İntihar eden sonsuz cehennemde kalmaz eğer mü'min veya
mü'mine ise (13:45)
D3J4-Vu : ikincisi bahsettiğin durumlarda bilincini kaybedip intihar edenler ise
sorumlu değillerdir (13:45)
Eleman: bilinçli intihar eden var mıdır? (13:46)
D3J4-Vu : geç yazdığım için kusura bakma (13:51)
D3J4-Vu : tabii ki var (13:51)
D3J4-Vu : benim arkadaşım var (13:51)
D3J4-Vu : 3 sayfalık intihar mektubunu da yanımda taşırım genelde (13:51)
D3J4-Vu : Allah'a dua edin beni affetsin bile yazmış (13:51)
D3J4-Vu : tam son noktadır o intihar ettikleri yer (13:52)
D3J4-Vu : hayır (13:59)
D3J4-Vu : gerçek bir müslüman depresyon yaşamaz (13:59)
D3J4-Vu : depresyon yaşayan Allah'ı unuttuğu için yaşar (13:59)
D3J4-Vu : gelen her derdi Allah'dan bilen insan onları bile gülerek karşılar (13:59)
(14:00)
10. D3J4-Vu : fakat en huzurlu da onlar olmuştur (14:00)
D3J4-Vu : Allah "Me esabe min musibetin illâ bi iznillah" diyor. Allah'ın izni
olmadan hiçbir musibet isabet etmez (14:00)
Eleman: ben allah dostumuyum :) (14:00)
D3J4-Vu : "O nedenle ister yâr ol ister yara. Lütfun da başım üstüme kahrın da"
derler (14:00)
D3J4-Vu : Seni amcana varana kadar öldürmeye çalıştılar mı (14:01)
D3J4-Vu : baban reddetti mi (14:01)
D3J4-Vu : kendi sevdiklerin öldürmeye çalıştı mı (14:01)
D3J4-Vu : başını taşla yarmaya çalıştılar mı (14:01)
D3J4-Vu : dizinden akan kanlar ayakkabılarını doldur mu hiç (14:01)
Eleman: senin dertten anlayışın bu mu? (14:02)
D3J4-Vu : bunlar Hz. İbrahim,in Hz.
koymak (14:05)
D3J4-Vu : başlarına taç koyun diyordu belki (14:05)
Eleman: bence boşuna uğraşıyorsun (14:07)
Eleman: ben sadece senin kafanı karıştırıcam (14:07)
Eleman: ama sen fikrimi değiştiremeyeceksin (14:08)
D3J4-Vu : sen kendi karışık kafanla, benim kafamı karıştıramazsın (14:08)
D3J4-Vu : Ben ispat ettiğim bir şeye inanıyorum (14:08)
D3J4-Vu : sen en olmayacağa (14:08)
Eleman: benim için dine inanmak sadece kaçış (14:09)
D3J4-Vu : fakat görüyoruz ki şu konuşmada her soruna cevap aldığın halde
inanmaktan sen kaçıyorsun (14:09)
D3J4-Vu : demek ki kaçış inanmak değil inanmamaktır (14:09)
D3J4-Vu : hatta şu anda neden inanmayanların cezası cehennemdir onu da
anlarsın (14:09)
D3J4-Vu : çünkü her akıl sahibi Allah'ın varlık ve birliğini anlar (14:09)
12. D3J4-Vu : esas mesele iradedir (14:09)
D3J4-Vu : eğer inanmak akılla oranlansa idi tüm zekiler inanır aptallar inanmazdı
(14:10)
D3J4-Vu : adaletsizlik olurdu (14:10)
Eleman: zekayla dini şu an sen ilişkilendiriyorsun, democritos, galile de ataist
(14:16)
Kur'an'ı almayanların ortaya koyduğu her şey sonrakiler tarafından çiğnenmiştir
(14:20)
D3J4-Vu : Kur'an'ı eline alıp işe atılan ise (14:20)
D3J4-Vu : Stephen Hawking'in 20. yüzyılın keşfi diye nitelendirdiği evrenin
genişlemesini Kur'an okuyan biliyordu. Zariyat 47. ayet diyor ki: "Yeri ve göğü
genişleticiyiz" buyuruyordu Allah (14:22)
D3J4-Vu : İslamiyet güneş gibidir üflemekle sönmez! (14:22)
D3J4-Vu : Gündüz gibidir göz yummakla gece olmaz! (14:22)
D3J4-Vu : Gözünü kapayan yalnız kendine gece yapar.! (14:22)
Rabbine iltica eder. Elhamdülillahi alâ ni'metil iman der (14:23)
D3J4-Vu : aksini söyleyen öbür tarafta başını kaldıramaz (14:23)
D3J4-Vu : cehennemi cenneti bir yana bırak (14:23)
15. D3J4-Vu : utançtan hicabından başını kaldıramaz Râsulu karşısında dikilip de
neden! dediğinde (14:23)
D3J4-Vu : Rabbi "Ey nankör!" ferman ettiğinde "Biz size apaçık uyarıcılar
göndermedik mi" diye hatırlattığında Kur'an ayetini (14:24)
Eleman: ben çıkmak zorundayım seninle sohbet etmek cidden güzeldi (14:24)
Eleman: mutlaka yine gel (14:24)
Eleman: yada linkini at be yazayım (14:24)
