Águas da Prata Sandstone
• is located about 300 km
northwest from Rio de
Janeiro, on boundary
between the State of
Minas Gerais and São
Paulo.

exploration tool.

radioactive with equivalent to 0.35% U3O8;
• Radioactivity observed in the Sandstone from
plateau that Poços de Caldas will be associate to
zirconium uraniferum that is the (mineral ore) very
disseminated.
• Unlike other countries, where the sandstone containing
carnotite (with secondary mineral) or primary veins, is
not the case of the sandstone of the Poços de Caldas.

Quirinos, Serrote and Cocal.

BRAZIL WITH ASSOCIATED SANDSTONES;
• THIS REGION WILL NEVER BE EXPLORED.
