007-06 Cisco Agri Challenge 2021
About
A programme for agritech startups (or group of individuals) to innovate and find solutions
for millions of small farmers to increase their profitability. It is aimed at helping startups
develop, test, and scale solutions.
Eligibility
Open to individuals, startups or groups of individuals (upto 10) to submit any solution
that serves/bridges the digital divide in agriculture or any innovation with potential for
scale. In order to receive a grant, applicant must have a registered organization (for, or
not-for profit) by May 2021.
Rewards
Winner and runner-up will receive grants of INR 1 Cr and INR 25 lacs respectively along
with incubation support. A grant of INR 15 lacs will be awarded to five finalists.

007-07 Maha Govt Financial Support for Patent Filing to Startups
About
Despite being innovative and deserving, many startups are unable to file patents because
of the high expenses involved. To support these startups Maharashtra State Innovation
Society is providing financial assistance to innovative startups who wish to file for patents.
Eligibility
Startup should be a DPIIT-recognized startup and incorporated in Maharashtra.
Utility patents, industry design patents, copyrights (limited to computer code) and
trademark applications.
For domestic patent applications, the startup should have a revenue below INR 1 crore.
For international patent applications, the startup should have a revenue below Rs 5 crore.
Rewards
Financial assistance of up to Rs 2 lakhs for a domestic patent application and up to Rs 10
lakhs for an international patent application subject to maximum 80% contribution
