1. Jason Whittaker Bio
Jason Whittaker is the Managing Editor of The Mandarin (due to launch July 2014).
He has written for and edited political, business and culture publications for a
decade. He spent two years as editor of sister Private Media publication Crikey,
leading an editorial team specialising in national affairs for a savvy subscription
audience. He joined Private Media in 2010 as Crikey deputy editor. He was
previously a managing editor of print and digital products for industry markets at ACP
Magazines.
In October 2013, Jason was chosen as one of 3 journalists to travel to Korea for a
week as part of the Australia-Korea Journalist Exchange Program, a joint initiative of
The Walkley Foundation, Australia-Korea Foundation and Korea Press Foundation.
