Fatigue performance of stone
mastic asphalt mixture with
inclusion of reclaimed asphalt
pavement materials
Description: This includes project like:-
• New Tank Project
The objective of the project was to determine the total earth required for
the construction of an earthen bund and to determine the capacity of the
reservoir formed.
• Restoration Tank Project
The objective of the project was to increase the gross capacity of the
tank (located in SS Ghati, Doddaballapura Taluk, Bangalore Rural
District) and to regain the safety of the bund by achieving the standard
dimensions of the bund. Field work (surveys) was conducted to
determine the design for the proposed T.B.L.
• Water Supply Engineering
The objective was to formulate and design the water supply scheme to
SS Ghati, considering water available at the reservoir of the New Tank
Project as main source of supply.
• Highway Project.
The objective is to survey the details of the existing road and to re-align
the road length as per the design for the given stretch.
• Trigonometric Project.
The aim of trigonometric surveying is to establish a certain number of
points on the earth’s surface whose positions and elevations, both
relatively and absolutely are determined with utmost accuracy, so they
serve as geodetic control points to which other detailed surveys can be
referred to.
This includes the laboratory investigation on the mentioned asphalt
mix to determine the fatigue performance. Design method adopted
in the study is superpave mix design method.
