2. KPOGCL Experience 03, AUGUST, 2014 -Present
At present working with KPOGCL, job role and responsibilities includes,
 Attending meeting and coordination with HDIP and OGTI on the behalf of KPOGCL in context of
establishing a technical lab.
 Using GIS and Google Earth for making maps of the scouted area of KPOGCL.
 Using Petrel 2014 for Data optimization and Miss tie analysis, velocity models, interpretation of faults and
geological horizons,seismic data visualization, seismic data intersection and data manipulation, sonic
collaboration and synthetic seismogram,Depth conversion TDR and well co-relation.
 Using Stero Net for plotting of dip and strikes values obtained from the field to understand the structure of
the area.
 Record maintenance and updating the files of KP upstream activities.
 Official correspondence with JV partners, client companies and ministry of Power and Energy KP.
 Assist seniors in preparation of budget & in routine administrative works including preparation of various
notes and technical presentation.
 Identification/evaluation of prospects in operated & partner operated areas by integrating G&G data with
Geophysicists including Reserves Estimation, risking & ranking of prospects and presentation
to higher management for approval.
Four weeks internship with OIL and GAS Development Company Limited (OGDCL)
Roles and duties:
a. Observation and explanation of the well Logs.
b. Study of Well-site Report
c. Identification of various fossils in micro Palaeoontology lab of OGDCL G&R LABS
d. Worked on core analysis.
e. Professional lectures on Well site Geology MWD/LWD.
