Brief
Put the failure of the war on drugs on the global social agenda.
We're losing the war on drugs. The numbers don't lie. In Mexico for example there has been
47,000 drug related murders in the last 6 years alone. So how do we demonstrate the real
human cost of losing this war and get people talking about change?
Introducing
The War On Drugs Memorial
The idea
In the capital cities of each country around the world we place a War On Drugs Memorial in a
public area. These memorials would feature the names of every person that has died from
drug related incidents in each country on a large wall, along with a single plaque baring this
message:
In memory of those who lost their lives in The War On Drugs 1971 – 2013.
We lost the war, now let's stop the casualties.
